1. Terms of Use

Welcome to Art by Kawnish. By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

• Use of Website

This website and its content are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. All artwork, images, and text are the intellectual property of Art by Kawnish and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written consent.

• Product Descriptions

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of product images and descriptions. Due to the nature of handmade art and differences in screen displays, slight variations in colour or texture may occur.

• Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. We accept secure payments through Stripe and PayPal, with your financial data protected by industry-standard encryption.

• Order Acceptance & Cancellation

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to stock issues, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

2. Return & Refund Policy

We believe art should speak to your soul, not sit in your space feeling out of place. If your new piece doesn’t feel quite right, you may return it within 7 days of delivery for a refund.

• How to Return an Artwork

Please email hello@artbykawnish.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
We’ll guide you through the steps to send it safely back.

• Return Conditions

  • Returned pieces must be in original condition, securely packaged, and undamaged
  • Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility, we recommend using a tracked and insured courier
  • Refunds are issued once the artwork is received and inspected (excluding shipping fees)

• Damaged in Transit?

If your artwork arrives damaged, please email within 48 hours with:

  • Photos of the artwork
  • Packaging
  • Shipping label

We will offer a refund, store credit, or replacement (if available).

• Custom Work

If commissions are ever offered, they will be custom-made and are non-returnable.

3. Post-Purchase Restoration Promise

Life happens. If your artwork is ever damaged after purchase, whether from a curious child, a clumsy moment, or a house move, we offer a restoration service.

  • Please email hello@artbykawnish.com with photos and a description of the damage
  • If restoration is possible, it will be offered free of charge for the work itself
  • You may be asked to cover shipping and material costs, if applicable

Because art should live, not be lost.

4. Shipping Policy

We proudly ship all artworks from Sydney, Australia.

• Domestic Shipping (Australia)

  • Free standard shipping on orders over AUD $500
  • Flat rate of $40 for orders up to AUD $499
  • Delivery within 3–10 business days
  • Tracking provided upon dispatch

• International Shipping

  • Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and artwork size
  • Delivery within 7–21 business days
  • Customs duties and taxes (if applicable) are the buyer’s responsibility

• Packaging

Each piece is carefully packaged using:

  • Acid-free materials
  • Corner protectors
  • Double boxing (when needed)
    To ensure it arrives safe and sound.

• Order Processing

  • Orders ship within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation
  • You’ll receive an email with tracking details once your order is dispatched
